A certificate of completion should be presented to training staff on the first day of training. Required web-based training: Prior to attending our two-day training, participants are required to complete the TF-CBT web-based curriculum hosted by the University of South Carolina. Address common barriers to treatment implementationĪttendees receive 12 Counselor or Social Worker CEUs through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board.Learn strategies for addressing inaccurate or unhelpful trauma-related cognitions.Learn several creative approaches for doing the trauma narrative.Develop and practice skills to implement each treatment component.Describe the treatment components and understand the underlying rationale for each component.Identify and engage children and families who would benefit from TF-CBT.Enhancing Future Safety and Development.Trauma Narrative and Cognitive Processing the Traumatic Experience.Cognitive Coping - The Cognitive Triangle.Graduates of the two-day training and follow-up consultation are eligible to apply for national certification as TF-CBT providers. This two-day training provides mental health and related professionals with a comprehensive understanding of TF-CBT as well as hands-on opportunities to practice each of the TF-CBT components. ![]()
