All biological materials imported into the United States must be documented, labeled, packaged, placarded, and declared in accordance with relevant international, federal, and state regulations. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and partner government agencies (PGAs) regulate the importation of biological materials that can pose a threat to agriculture, public health, and natural resources.
